The Shat Gombuj Mosque is one of the ancient mosques in Bangladesh dating back to the 15th century. The mosque was built by Azam Ulugh Khan Jahan. It is nestled in Bagerhat district, close to the mangrove forests of the Sunderbans. It is one of the country's largest multi-domed mosques. It houses 81 gambuj or domes. The mosque is 160 feet in length and 108 feet in width. It is built with red burn mud.
